3 HIDDEN GEMS THAT ARE GIVING US OUR DOSE OF CREATIVITY AND MUSIC IN BAHRAIN
Sometimes it’s hard to find the right place to find like-minded people in Bahrain, but there’s enough going on to offer an outlet for those who are creatively-insatiable. Be it performative arts or live music, these are some of our favorite “hangs” when we’re hankering for something different.
The brain-child of creative extraordinaire Khalil Rasool, Vaudeville is a concept that combines all manners of creative minds, kindred spirits and wild antics. The platform brings together a lineup of artists, performers, musicians, filmmakers, actors, dancers, all sharing their unique sets in a highly stimulating creative environment.
It has quickly established itself as the unmissable event for anyone interested in experiencing something quite spectacular, bizarre and entertaining.
The next Vaudeville is set to be held on December 18th at Calexico.
Mention Sonder, and those who are familiar with it will tell you what an important and special place it has become over the past few years. The creative community coffee shop has been expanding its rooster of events to cover everything from live music, to poetry, to deep existential discussions, and everything in between.
It offers a sanctuary for many of the young and upcoming talents seeking a way to express themselves in an uncompromising and judgement-free zone.

3) THE SHOWCASE
With the main focus on finding new original voices, The Showcase provide an alternative platform for the local music scene. The Saturday afternoon sessions bring together a host of performers sharing their original material on stage with the sole purpose of discovering and encouraging the next generation of artists.
Whether it’s a veteran trying our new material, or a newcomer performing live in front of any audience for the first time, The Showcase is an inclusive, supportive environment for all.
The next Showcase sessions is to be held on Saturday, November 9th, at LNT Adliya from 3pm to 8pm.
